September 18th – Day without road deaths

18.09.2025

DEAR RESIDENTS OF VIDIN REGION,

Under the motto "Set an example!" for the tenth year, the European network of road police services ROADPOL is organizing Road safety days, dedicated to vulnerable road users - children, pedestrians and drivers of two-wheeled vehicles, in the period from September 16-22.

September 18th has been designated as the Day without road deaths.

Regional administration Vidin joins the campaign for ZERO road deaths, at least for one day - with the common mission to keep our roads safe and free of victims.

I believe that the goal is achievable when we prioritize life - today, tomorrow and every following day.

This day can be different. A day when no one will lose a loved one on the road. A day when tragedy will not knock on anyone's door - because responsibility begins with personal eample.

Sincerely,

ANI ARUTYUNYAN

Regional governor of Vidin region
