Regional administration Vidin received gratitude for its fruitful and effective cooperation with the RDMIA

On the occasion of the professional holiday of the employees of the MIA and the 146th anniversary of the establishment of the internal ministry, the Regional governor, Mrs. Ani Arutyunyan, was among the official guests at the solemn gathering. "Our society relies on your dedication and humane attitude to maintain order and uphold the state. I have always said that the Regional directorate of the MIA in Vidin is a strong guarantor of internal security and public trust," said the Regional governor, presenting a congratulatory address to the director of the Vidin police, senior commissioner Petar Kotsin.

During the formal gathering, which was attended by representatives of institutions from the Vidin region and senior officials from the Police inspectorate of Dolj county, Romania, a total of 73 employees of the RDMIA-Vidin and 14 employees of the RD "Fire safety and civil protection" were honored.

By order of Interior minister Daniel Mitov, senior commissioner Petar Kotsin, director of the RDMIA-Vidin, was awarded the MIA's "Medal of honor" for his initiative and lasting results in the performance of his official duties. Commissioner Stilian Peshev, director of the RD "Fire safety and civil protection" , was awarded a "Declaration of gratitude" - a cash prize for initiative and high professional results in the performance of his duties. Vladimir Ivanov, inspector for civil protection in the "Prevention and control activities" sector of the RDFSCP in Vidin, was awarded the "Honorary sign of the MIA - III degree" for his outstanding achievements in his official duties.
