The large-scale volunteer initiative united employees in support of the cause against environmental pollution - one of the most serious environmental problems in the modern world. With joint efforts, the Danube alleyt area in the section from the River station to the "Kolodruma" sports complex was cleaned.
"Each of us can contribute to reducing pollution through conscious choice and responsible behavior towards nature," noted the Deputy regional governor, Mrs. Irena Nikolova, and emphasized the positive example that the people of Vidin set with their active participation in socially significant causes.
For the 14th consecutive year, the initiative "Let's clean Bulgaria together" is being held within the framework of World cleanup day. It is part of the global "Let's Do It World" movement, which unites millions of volunteers from around the world in efforts for a cleaner planet.
