On the 21st of September for the first time in whole Europe and the neighbor countries formally will be celebrated the European Territorial Cooperation Day. More than 75 European programs will organize different events in the period from 17th to 23th of September. The purpose of the campaign, which is coordinated from the INTERACT program in collaboration with the European Commission and supported by the Regional Committee and the European Parliament, is to point out the cooperation between the European regions and countries.
Almost 40 countries will participate to celebrate the cooperation and building of the bridges between the local communities from both sides of each border in Europe.
This will be an opportunity to introduce all of the improvements to which local initiatives lead in all aspects of our everyday life- from providing of work places, health services improvement, as well as protection of the environment to the improvement of conditions in transport and energy use.
