The Regional governor of Vidin region, pursuant to Art. 34b, para. 2 of the State property act (SPA) announces that by Decision No. 299 from April 17th, 2026, the Council of ministers expropriates for state needs for the construction of Object "Vidin - Sofia Railway line", Vidin - Medkovets section and new Vodnyantsi station from the project "Design of the construction of the Vidin - Sofia railway line: Update of the project and preparation of the Vidin - Medkovets railway section", according to detailed development plans - plot plans, and a detailed development plan - plan for regulation and development of a new Vodnyantsi station, approved by Order No. RD-02-15-26 of the Minister of regional development and public works which entered into force from March 1st, 2024, properties - private property, located in the lands of the villages of Vodnyantsi and Izvor, Dimovo municipality, Vidin region, described in detail in the appendix by type, area, location, amount of money compensation and owners.

The funds necessary to finance the procedure for the expropriation of the properties under item 1 are provided by the National railway infrastructure company.
