The dinner with a spiritual message iftar - a symbol of friendship and eternal values, brought together muslims and christians at a common table in the Osman Pazvantoglu mosque for another year. The Regional governor of Vidin, Mrs. Ani Arutyunyan, and the Deputy regional governor, Mrs. Irena Nikolova, expressed their satisfaction with the fact that for decades the religious communities in Vidin region have coexisted in understanding and tolerance with each other, as part of a strong and cohesive society. "In the days of forgiveness, repentance and mercy in the sacred month of Ramazan for Islamic culture, and on the eve of the Ramazan Bayram holiday, may there be health, love, sharing in families, spiritual protection and grace for all of you!", reads the congratulatory address of the regional governor to the regional mufti of Vidin, Nexati Ali.
The religious holiday Ramazan Bayram, also known as Sheker Bayram, will be celebrated on March 31st and April 1st this year.
