The Regional governor Ivo Atanasov, together with the Deputy regional governor Ani Arutyunyan, welcomed in the state administration the Deputy rector for educational activities of UNWE Prof. Dr. Matilda Alexandrova – Boshnakova, the director of the Regional distance learning center at the University of Economics in Haskovo city, prof. Dr. Nadya Mironova and the student from Vidin Antonina Lozanova. As a graduate of the UNWE, who obtained an educational scientific degree "Doctor" from the "Political Science" department of the Faculty of International economics and politics, Mrs. Arutyunyan exchanged ideas and good practices with the representatives of the academic circles. The issue of signing a memorandum of cooperation and other ideas for future joint implementation to promote Vidin region and the cultural and historical heritage in the region were commented on.
Earlier in the day, the Deputy regional governor visited "Panorama of the higher education" - an exhibition of higher education institutions, which is being held today and tomorrow at the "Jules Paskin" Cultural center. A total of 20 universities from the country participate in it, presenting to the Vidin public study programs and opportunities for admission of students and cadets.
