Mrs. Ani Arutyunyan visited the town of Gabrovo and Shipka peak, where, under the patronage of the president of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev, the traditional celebrations dedicated to the 147th anniversary of the epic battles and 90 years since the consecration of the Freedom Monument took place. As a sign of reverence to the memory of the heroes who died for the freedom of Bulgaria, the Regional governor of Vidin region, Ani Arutyunyan, was part of the military ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers. "Long live Freedom!" To preserve the covenants of the generations! Let us be united and worthy followers of the glorious Bulgarian volunteers, who returned the self-esteem of proud Bulgaria!", states the Regional governor on today's memorable day and wishes spiritual wisdom and prosperity to the entire Bulgarian people.
Among those present were the Vice president of the Republic of Bulgaria Mrs. Iliyana Yotova, Mr. Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha - prime ninister of Bulgaria (2001-2005), government representatives, etc.
A reenactment of the epic battles took place on Shipka peak, recreated by patriots of the National association "Tradition".
