The Regional Governor of Vidin met with representatives of the National Association of Municipalities in Italy.

Eng. Tsvetan Asenov, the Regional Governor of Vidin met with Dr. Paolo Avezzu - National Advisor of the National Association of Municipalities in Italy. 
The meeting was attended by Dr. Kosio Stoychev - Chairman of the Trustees Committee for cooperation between Bulgaria and Italy, and Mr. Michele Viola - Representative of the International network \"Branch of Art\". 
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and sign a common cooperation agreement between the National Association of Municipalities in Italy and Vidin region in the field of joint projects implementation, which support cultural, intellectual and business exchange between Italy and Bulgaria, and Vidin region in particular. 
National Association of Municipalities in Italy ANCI combines 8104 Italian municipalities, 6,406 of which are members of the association. 
ANCI represents the interests of the members in front of the central authorities in Italy. Among the functions of ANCI is promoting the initiatives to deepen the knowledge of local institutions and citizen participation in the life of local autonomy. The association encourages and coordinates international relations of its members and their activities in the field of decentralized international cooperation. 
The International Network Branch of Art in Bulgaria is represented by Mrs. Teofana Ahryanova /A.I.S.& A. Company/. 
The activity of the association is aimed at preparing an analysis of territory in cultural aspect, to implement projects in the field of culture, linked with the tourism in the region, with a particular focus on young people.
