The Regional governor of Vidin, Mrs. Ani Arutyunyan, discussed with the Minister of health of the Republic of Bulgaria, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Silvi Kirilov, MD, the state's commitments to ensuring quality and affordable healthcare for all citizens. During the meeting, the challenges in the sector, the medical services offered in Vidin region, as well as the opportunities for staffing and purchasing medical equipment for the Obstetrics and gynecology department of the Multi-profile hospital for active treatment "Sveta Petka" in Vidin were discussed.
The Minister of health and the Regional governor united around the need for joint efforts and readiness to find new opportunities to improve the conditions for patients in the hospital.
Minister Kirilov was visiting the city in connection with the opening of the eighth hospital heliport in the country. He held talks with the management of the Vidin hospital and learned about the working conditions in other state health institutions.
