The Regional Governor of Vidin and representatives of the Jewish Organization in Bulgaria “Shalom” had a joint press conference in connection with the “Make Good” initiative- 70 good deeds. The campaign is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the rescuing of the Bulgarian Jews in 1943 and in memory of the Jews from Macedonia, Thrace and Pirot, who died in the death camps during the Second World War. 
Another event from the initiative is the donation of 400 packs \"Respistim\" - immunostimulant and highly digestible complete range of vitamins and trace elements for children. The donation was made by professor Rahamin Shekerdjiisky through the Organization of Jews in Bulgaria / OJB / \"Shalom\" and was given to the Regional Governor by Joseph Melamed, Chief Secretary OJB \"Shalom.\" 
Eng. Asenov thanked for providing supplements and informed the audience that there are ongoing discussions with the Regional Inspectorate on Education of Ministry of Education and Science in Vidin and Mayors of municipalities, to legally distribute the donation. Supplements will be provided to parents and children by GP`s. 
During the meeting with Media were shown the main directions in the common work of the Regional Administration Vidin and the Organization of Jews in Bulgaria “Shalom”- cooperation in the project to restore the Vidin Synagogue and cooperation of OJB \"Shalom\", by the Ambassador of Israel in Bulgaria, for business activities in Vidin region. 
In March 2013 as a part of the initiative “Make Good” professionals from Bulgaria and Israel will do free medical check-ups for children and indigent in Vidin.
