The Regional governor Ani Arutyunyan welcomed the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Mongolia to Bulgaria and the Minister of tourism

At the invitation of Mrs. Rositsa Kirova - Deputy chair of the National assembly until the swearing-in of the 50th Parliament in Vidin region, visited Evtim Miloshev - acting Minister of tourism. In the Conference center of the Regional administration, at a discussion meeting with the participation of mayors of municipalities and representatives of the tourism industry, opportunities for the promotion of Northwestern Bulgaria, perspectives and challenges with a focus on balneological (spa), healing, rural, religious, mountainous and river tourism were discussed. "As a leading global industry, tourism stimulates development and changes the face of regions. Achieving its sustainable development is our duty," stated the Regional governor Ani Arutyunyan. Minister Miloshev emphasized the strategic location and potential of the Vidin region, emphasizing the role and resource of the region in turning it into a preferred tourist destination. The participants in the meeting outlined the need for advertising of tourist products to attract foreign guests all year round.  

Mr. Miloshev, Mrs. Arutyunyan and Mrs. Kirova visited local cultural and historical landmarks in the municipalities of Kula, Belogradchik and Vidin, as they were joined by H.E. Lhagvasuren Sayanaa – extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Mongolia in our country. Her Excellency donated books to the Vidin's "Mihalaki Georgiev" library. Together with the Regional governor, Mrs. Sayanaa met with residents of the Chuprene and Belogradchik municipalities.
