The Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, the European Commissioner for Regional Policy Johannes Hahn and the Regional Governor of Vidin Eng. Tsvetan Asenov inspected the building of Danube bridge 2.The Prime Minister was accompanied from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov, Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova, Minister managing EU Funds Tomislav Donchev and Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ivaylo Moskovsky, the deputies Lyubomila Stanislavova and Vladimir Toshev. In the delegacy team from Romanian side was His Excellency Anton Pakuretsu- Ambassador of Romania in our country and the Minister of Administration and Interior of Romania Johan Rus. 
The official guests, who were on a one day visit in Vidin have seen the building progress of the bridge and the adjacent infrastructure, which performance at the moment is respectively 82 % and 92 %. An establishment of a common Bulgarian- Romanian Company for management and exploitation of cross- border installation is pending. 
The Prime Minister, Ministers and the Regional Governor of Vidin inspected “Panonia” Boulevard and the roundabouts. 
In the Conference Center of the Regional Administration of Vidin was held a work meeting- a discussion about the EU Strategy on the Danube region. The Regional Governor welcomed the meeting and greeted the official guests. The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova showed the Bulgarian progress on implementing the EU Strategy for the Danube Region and Roadmap for the Joint Bulgarian- Romanian project for the development of navigation on the river. Minister Pavlova is a National Coordinator of the Danube Strategy for Bulgaria. Also attended the Eropean Commissioner for Regional Policy Johannes Hahn, Minister of Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov, Minister managing EU Funds Tomislav Donchev. During the meeting was shown the Bulgarian progress in the priority axis 11 “Safety” and priority axis 3 “Tourism” from the Bulgarian coordinators- Chief Commissioner Kalin Georgiev and Deputy Minister Ivo Marinov. 
At the Ferry Complex in Vidin was held a National full- scale training “Protection 2012”, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There were tested the opportunities for cooperation and coordination between Bulgaria and Romania, Serbia and Austria, under the Danube Strategy.
