80,000 ballots and 244 rolls of specialized paper were delivered
Today, the paper ballots and rolls of specialized paper for machine voting ballots for the upcoming elections were delivered to Regional administration Vidin under police guard. They were received from the BNB printing office by two authorized representatives of the regional administration and two authorized representatives of Regional Election Commission - Vidin.
The ballots and rolls will be stored in a room specified by order of the Regional governor of Vidin region until they are handed over to the municipal administrations. The premises are equipped with a security system and video surveillance. RD of the MI - Vidin also provides 24-hour physical security by law enforcement officers.
All centrally secured electoral papers and materials, including video surveillance devices for the elections on October the 27th, 2024, have also been delivered to Regional administration Vidin.
The organizational and technical preparation of the upcoming parliamentary vote is being carried out within the specified time limits, according to the CEC-approved chronogram, following the instructions of the CEC and the Administration of the Council of ministers, informed the Regional governor Ani Arutyunyan. At the moment, no difficulties have been identified and reported in the preparation of the elections, added the Regional governor.
