The municipal councilors and newly elected mayors in the municipalities of Belogradchik, Chuprene and Ruzhintsi swore to respect the Constitution in the name of the Republic of Bulgaria

The Deputy regional governor of Vidin region Ani Arutyunyan opened the solemn meetings of the municipal councils, which were led by the oldest municipal councilors - the previous mayors of Belogradchik and Chuprene Boris Nikolov and Angelo Dobrichov, and in Ruzhintsi municipality - by Iliyan Iliev. Angel Georgiev was elected chairman in the municipality of Belogradchik, Vanyo Kostin - in the municipality of Chuprene and Milen Viktorov in the municipality of Ruzhintsi.

The newly elected mayors of the three municipalities, mayors of town halls and municipal councilors took the oath and signed affidavits, and representatives of the municipal election commissions handed them the election certificates.

At the head of Belogradchik municipality after the second round of elections is Boyan Minkov, nominated by MK "BSP for Bulgaria" (NDSV, Novoto Vreme, DPS, Bulgarian Vazhod, Gergiovden Movement). Dilyana Kostova was elected mayor of the village of Rabisha.

In Chuprene, after a runoff, the current deputy mayor Maria Todorova from (PP GERB) replaces Angelo Dobrichev. In the villages of the municipality of Gorni Lom, Dolni Lom, Replyana and Targovishte - the mayoral seats are occupied by Iliyan Mihailov, Tsetska Zhivkova, Elichka Yonkina and Valentina Filipovska.

In Ruzhintsi, the residents re-elected the previous mayor, Alexander Alexandrov, in the first round, and in the villages of the municipality - Belo pole, Gyurgich, Drazhintsi, Drenovets, Pleshivets, Topolovets and Cherno pole, in charge are respectively Vencislav Asenov, Boyko Mladenov, Krastyu Jonov, Nadia Ivanova, Yordanka Petrova, Miroslav Mladenov and Todor Todorov.

The Deputy regional governor of Vidin region, Ani Arutyunyan, wished the newly elected members successful mandates. "Make wise decisions for the sake of all residents, work unitedly and responsibly with the people in mind!" said Mrs. Harutyunyan.

Archimandrite Antim - Protosingel of the Holy Metropolis of Vidin held a prayer for health and prosperity during the new mandate - 2023-2027 in the municipalities of Chuprene and Ruzhintsi.

At the solemn meeting in Ruzhintsi, the acting mayor Dimitar Petrov gave the mayor entering his third term, Alexander Alexandrov, with a necklace - one of the attributes of power.

Today, the meetings continue in the municipalities of Bregovo and Novo Selo.
