The Minister of Youth, Education and Science Sergey Ignatov and the Regional Governor of Vidin Region participated in forum called \

The Minister of Youth, Education and Science Sergey Ignatov visited Vidin today at the invitation of the Regional Governor of Vidin Region. Mr. Ignatov took part in forum called \"The Bulgarian School in XXI century\" together with the Regional Governor of Vidin Region Plamen Stefanov, Deputy Governor Elka Georgieva, and the Head of the Regional Inspectorate on Education - Vidin Kalin Ninov. In the Conference Hall of the Municipal Council - Vidin the Minister acquainted the directors of schools and kindergartens with the Strategy for computerization of Bulgarian schools. Its purpose is to introduce an online teaching lessons and electronic school registers in the secondary schools, which is expected to be implemented by 2020. 
Mr. Sergei Ignatov also considered the draft of the Law on public boards, which is a social contract between teachers and parents concerning the observation of each school policy. 
The Minister of Education stressed that university education in the country is developing at high level, adding that a balance should be found in order the academic education becomes more practically orientated. 
The Minister of Education together with the Governor, Deputy Governor of Vidin Region and the Head of the Regional Inspectorate on Education - Vidin visited school \"Dr. Petar Beron \". After a project of the Ministry of Education the school building was renovated, and was performed repair of the roof. The cost of the repair works is 230 000 levs. Over 16 000 levs were invested under a project (another one of the MES) for restoration of the sanitary rooms and bathrooms at the school and dormitory. The school principal Rositsa Ivanova gave two drawings of students as a present to the Minister. 
Mr. Ignatov, Plamen Stefanov and Elka Georgieva met with His Eminence metropolitan Dometian who briefly acquainted them with the history of the ancient church \"St. Panteleimon\" and the mausoleum of the first Bulgarian Exarch \"Antim Ist\".
