The First Workshop on TRANSDANUBE project ended today - „Sustainable Transport and Tourism along the Danube” with a representatives of the transport companies in the region

In the Conference hall 1 of Regional administration Vidin, was held the first workshop, for today, on project TRANSDANUBE - „Sustainable Transport and Tourism along the Danube”. 
The workshop was attended by representatives of the transport companies from Vidin region. Mrs. Elena Petkova from „REGIOPLAN“ Ltd., presented the Analysis of the transport and tourism system in Vidin region, good practices and soft mobility packages in the region. 
Previously, Mrs. Desislava Obretenova, Project Manager of TRANSDANUBE for Regional administration Vidin introduced the project’s objectives, activities and partners. 
There was a discussion with the local operators regarding the transport services offered by them and the opportunities for transportation to the specific tourist routes in the region, including the cost of service. 
It was achieved an agreement with the transport operators. Those operators who want to be included in the developed soft mobility packages should submit, in writing form, the concrete routes they may provide – the conditions and the cost of the services, by the end of May in the building of Regional administration Vidin. 
Today at 14:30 p.m, the Analysis of the transport and tourism system in Vidin region, good practices and soft mobility packages in the region will be presented to local hoteliers, restaurant owners, representatives of local business and tourism experts from the municipal administrations in Vidin region.
