The Deputy regional governor Mrs. Irena Nikolova was an official guest of the 15th anniversary edition of the International culinary and folklore festival "GERGYOVDEN" in the village of Antimovo. On her behalf, a congratulatory address was read and delivered by the Regional governor Mrs. Ani Arutyunyan. It says: "Festivals like this are living proof that our roots are strong, that the love for Bulgarian folklore is alive and that the heritage of our ancestors continues to inspire generations. Thanks to the dedication of the organizers, the talent of the performers and the support of the local community, today we can all touch the richness of our customs, songs, dances and costumes."

Dance and singing performances by professional and amateur groups from both the Vidin region and neighboring Serbia and Romania, a culinary competition and folk craft workshops are part of the celebration of the 15th anniversary edition of the International culinary and folklore festival "GERGYOVDEN", ​​which continues on Sunday, 04.05.2025.

On the holiday of May 6th - St. George's Day, a solemn Holy Liturgy will be celebrated in the local temple in the Vidin's village and a kurban will be distributed.
