In the period April 16 – 17 2013, Regional administration Vidin will host the Second International partnership meeting on project TRANSDANUBE - „Sustainable Transport and Tourism along the Danube“. The meeting will be held in the Conference hall of Regional administration Vidin and will be attended by 14 project partners from Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, Slovakia, Austria, Germany and Hungary.
The main accents of the forthcoming event will be the meeting of Project Steering Committee and a thematic workshop. During the meeting of the Project Steering Committee, project partners will be informed about the current status of the financial part during the project implementation. There will be discussed the reporting system and current status of the different work packages.
The project TRANSDANUBE - „Sustainable Transport and Tourism along the Danube” is implemented under the South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme, with a priority axel „Improving the accessibility”. There are involved 14 financing partners from Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, Slovakia, Austria, Germany and Hungary.
The main objectives of the project are the development of \"Sustainable Mobility\" along the Danube, including the use of rail, road, bicycle and ship transport in order to improve access and to facilitate the development of tourism in the entire Danube region. The project focuses on the various forms of sustainable mobility and integrated regional and tourism development in the partner regions of the Danube countries.
