Rotarians donated mammograph to the hospital in Belogradchik

The Governor of Vidin Region Mr.Plamen Stefanov visited today the municipal hospital in the town of Belogradchik which received a new mammograph from representatives of the Bulgarian-French friendship committee to Rotary International and Rotary Club – Sofia. The mobile mammography equipment costs 100 000 euro. The keys of the new equipment were received by the manager of the municipal hospital Dr. Petya Ruskova. 
The Regional Governor, who is member of Rotary Club - Vidin, expressed his gratitude towards the representatives of the Bulgarian-French Committee and Rotary Club – Sofia for the charitable initiative. “You chose the hospital of Belogradchik to have highly necessary equipment that will play an important role for examinations in the remote settlements. I hope the partnership between the two countries will continue to develop through other charitable causes”, said Mr. Plamen Stefanov to the guests. He promised he won’t allow administrative obstacles to put off the operation of the equipment. 
The examinations of the lactic gland are recommended not only for women above the age of 50 but also to younger ones because of the timely prevention and diagnostics.
