Within the framework of the "Week of the future", the management and employees of Regional administration Vidin joined forces in the name of environmental protection and a cleaner Bulgaria. By cleaning the beach strip on the central beach in the town and on the two terraces of the "Baba Vida" fortress, they set a personal example of an active civic position and a responsible attitude towards nature.
"Caring for the environment is a cause and a shared responsibility. Every step towards a cleaner environment is an investment in the future of our children and communities," said the Regional governor of Vidin Ognyan Asenov and the Deputy regional governor Prolet Georgieva - Nikolova.
The volunteer initiative is taking place today in the municipalities of Boynitsa, Chuprene, Gramada and Makresh. The necessary supplies have been provided for the participants in Vidin region by the Environmental Protection Activities Management Enterprise (EPAME) - a total of 280 multi-colored polyethylene bags for different types of waste and 500 gloves.
