Dear fellow citizens,

On January 6th, the Orthodox Church celebrates Jordan's Day - one of the greatest holidays in the Bulgarian calendar, dedicated to the baptism of Jesus Christ by St. John the Baptist in the sacred waters of the Jordan River. Water today has life-giving power, and the day unites the Christian religion and the rich traditions of the Bulgarian people, bringing a sense of renewal and hope.

May the purifying power of holy water bring us well-being and prosperity! Let us offer a pure prayer to God for health, peace, humility, goodness and prosperity.

With the power of faith in souls and hearts - may the future of Vidin and Vidin region be filled with light!
