Dear residents and guests of Vidin region,

On March 25th, the Orthodox church celebrates the great Christian holiday of the Annunciation (Blagovets), the day when the Archangel Gabriel brings the Virgin Mary the good news of the birth of the Savior of mankind, the son of God Jesus Christ.

The Annunciation is the greatest Christian sacrament. Today is a holiday of hope and faith in goodness. May there be health, shared joy and prosperity in every home! May the bright Christian holiday, part of the Easter holiday cycle, which carries deep spiritual symbolism – of awakening and prosperity, bring good news for Vidin region, because I believe that we have the opportunities and potential to work for the better future of our children. Let us be more peaceful and happy as a community together!
