With special honor today I address all of You who serve the society and fulfill Your mission with professionalism, discipline and a high sense of duty to Bulgaria.

Wearing the uniform of MI means being an example of responsibility, dedication, honesty, justice and respect for the law. This calling requires unconditional devotion and readiness every day to put the public interest above personal interest.

Let the holiday of the Ministry of interior remind us that security is a fundamental value, and respect for Your work is a sign of a mature and responsible society. A strong state is built on trust, justice and gratitude to the people who maintain order and security.

On this holiday, we bow our heads and pay our deepest respect to all the employees who lost their lives in the line of duty. Their memory will live forever and remind us that freedom, security and public order sometimes have the highest price.
