Dear residents of Vidin region,

Today we pay tribute to the valor, selflessness and patriotism of the Bulgarian warriors who defend Bulgaria and its values ​​in the past and today. Their readiness for self-sacrifice is an example that deserves deep respect and gratitude, and fills us with national pride and self-confidence. I believe that a united people is a strong people who can achieve great things.

On St. George's Day, we also celebrate the impulse of spring revival, of faith and hope, with a prayer that the heavenly patron of the Bulgarian people, St. George the Victorious, will give us well-being and protection, watching over the Fatherland with his spiritual unearthly power.
