Deputy Regional Governor of Vidin, Elka Georgieva opened a discussion of European issues in the form World Café.
The event is part of the week \"Europe - Bulgaria\" in Vidin region, which ends today. The discussion format included five groups of students who debated five questions: Does EU need to change? Should there be a greater impact by the EU on the member states? What should be the EU financial priorities for the next programming period (2014-2020)? Are the EU programs useful and is the granted money utilized properly? Are we aware of our rights as European citizens and do we take enough advantage of them?
Today\'s World Cafe on European issues is organized by the Youth Parliament Vidin with the assistance of Regional Administration Vidin and Regional Inspectorate of Education of Ministry of Education and Science - Vidin.
Mrs. Georgieva gave awards / School Supplies /, which are provided by the Regional Governor of Vidin, to the five most prominent participants in the discussions.
